Well I did a factory reset and it didnt remove the latest firmware update!

That's right. A reset clears the settings. It does not wipe out the firmware.
With routers and other modems there are ways of getting back to oder versions.

I dont know how to go back to the last firmware update! Im hoping they fix the current one so it reads the sim card data correctly!

Yes, doing a factory reset does not affect the firmware as the firmware is burned into memory.

Still no fix for At&T been this way since the firmware update! So I just check my data on my account with at&t!
