This is a known issue with the current release (12.06.07.00). The main fix in the latest release was to address the reset being experienced by some users. There should be a new FW release soon to correct the no battery problem.
Here are the release notes for the latest FW:

Hi there.
A new firmware has been released that resolves the no battery operation. Please select check for updates on the M1.

When I do a check on the unit for firmware it says I'm current, and it's 12.05.05. This is an AT&T branded device. So, 12.06.07 isn't coming up, nor whatever you are saying is now released that is newer than 12.06.07. Also, 12.06.07 is the only one available for download from the website, so if there is something newer, it's not posted.

12.06.07.00_00 is not a version I can recommend as it seems to have serious problems without the battery.
I also cannot see a newer version but would be more interested to see the release notes for any newer version and to see a consumer report that the new version is known-good. :smileyhappy:

Carried out a manual check and find a 104 MB update is ready for download.
Anyone know if known-good, where the release notes are, and what the version might be? :smileyhappy:
