Netgear nighthawk m1 on my boat

Hello,
I am thinking of getting the nighthawk m1 for my sailboat, and buying SIM cards with hotspots when I arrive wherever it is I am at the moment. Has anyone ever installed one on your boat? I want to use an antenna as well, and I can’t seem to find a long extension cord that works with the m1. Any suggestions?

We used to hoist our phone with a hotspot up the mast and we got pretty decent signal! We found that if we had enough service to send a text from the deck, we could stream a movie with the phone up the mast. Obviously it won’t work if we are further offshore, but I’d much prefer this option to starlink or something like that. If it works, it will make our lives much easier ! Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions or advice. Thank you !
