NETGEAR Nighthawk M1 Temperature Operation
Hi there. Anyone can confirm the recommended ambient operation temperature for the MR1100 – Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router...? for example the device can operate between -10°C to 40°C...?
Thanks
The manual says:
0C to +35C operating
-10C to +60C storage

Why inside of a cold room / walk-in fridge? Reception won't be very good (Cellular nor wifi). Better to mount on outside of Cold room, use QC-3 enabled power supply (anker) and run Ethernet to your devices. OR. if you have wifi / Ethernet devices inside the cold room, be sure to wire and mount external Cellular antennas outside the coldroom

Well, there's probably a spec in the manual, but I'm not sure how much weight this will carry in reality.
In general, electronics like the colder the better down to just before the dew point. So depending on the temp and relative humidity, your lower temp limit will be just before condensation starts to occur. Even then a little condensation is usualy okay (as long as you don't have enough to start shorting things out). So, if its not too moist, this would be ~4-10C. The closer you get to 0 the less run time you'll get from the battery. Definately do not subject the battery to freezing temperatures.
On the warm side of things, the electronics are like good up to at least 30-35C, perhaps higher. But the battery is not and will refuse to charge if the unit gets too warm.
Why, where were you intending on installing it? I would not leave it sitting on a hot dashboard in the Summer sun. Nor would I leave it outside in the Winter. But other than these extremes, most electronics are fairly forgiving.

Hi JSchnee21, thanks for replying back.
The reason I'm asking is because I cannot get that temperature specification from any documentation available online. I'm planning to use the device inside a coolroom where the temperature is within 0°C to 6°C.
I haven't purchased the equipment yet but intending to do it this week through our network provider and hopefully the temperature operating ranges might be displayed in the papers inside the box.
