Netgear nighthawk m2 problem updating the firmware

I have a nighthawk m2 which I bought from Ooredoo Qatar and the firmware on it is NTGX24_10.13.03.00 and when I try to update it says that there is no update. However, one of my friends has the same broadband with Ooredoo but his device showed that there was an update and he updated the device to NTGX24_10.13.14.00 . I tried to reset the device but still there was no update. I contacted Ooredoo and they said that the latest firmware that they have is NTGX24_10.13.03.00, but this firmware is not stable and keeps restarting when using the device for couple of hours and it doesn't have the port forwarding feature where this firmware (NTGX24_10.13.14.00) does.

 

how can I fix it or update it manually ?
