You can always buy an M6Pro mobile hotspot like the MR6550. It is also like an upgrade, but like upgrading your phone from iPhone 15 to iPhone 16. If you are asking if you can simply "upgrade" the firmware, the answer is no. There is a reason why they sell different models under the M6 and M6Pro lines. Before committing to buying these hotspots, you need to consider what carriers you'll going to be using it with.
