Netgear nighthawk will not turn on.

I have a one week old Netgear nighthawk that has been working fairly well. Not great signal but ok. Came home from work tonight and the thing is just dead. It was left plugged in. And now I just changed outlets thinking hat might be something but as soon as I plug it in it tries to start up. I get a blue light flash, then orange light flash, then the screen tries to start and it shuts down. Ideas or thoughts?

    What's the exact model number and version of your NETGEAR device.

    You can try resetting the router back to factory settings.

        Removing battery and SIM card reset mine, as well!!  Thank you, internet hero, from much headache and anger!!
