That sounds incredibly frustrating—sorry you're dealing with this. Unfortunately, Netgear support has a reputation for being slow and repetitive. A few things you can try to escalate your case:
- Call Instead of Emailing – Sometimes speaking directly to a supervisor on the phone gets better results than back-and-forth emails.
- Use Social Media – Tweeting or posting on Netgear’s official Twitter/Facebook with a detailed complaint sometimes gets faster responses.
- Credit Card Chargeback – If the device is genuinely faulty and Netgear isn’t helping, some credit card companies allow chargebacks for defective purchases.
