new wifi router it wont allow me to connect using the default sign

many times people buy something and get a returned/open box/refurbed router. They've already been setup once. So first start with a factory reset. Many times people just push reset. You need to push and hold reset while the device is fully powered on. give it 7-10 seconds. Sometimes it takes as long as 30 seconds but the lights should change/blink.

this should get you back to factory login.

default login is admin

default password is password

try that and let me know how it goes.
