OK. An app issue, not related to the MR1100.
But "incorrect", one of several messages that you reported, suggests that it might be trying to connect to an unexpected router.

No sign of the MR1100.
The compatibility of apps seems to be closely linked to the app version and the firmware on the device. Both versions need to be compatible. Do your iThings both have the same app version?

Just a clarification. I’m using the Netgear Mobile app, not Netgear Nighthawk app. Both devices using the latest app version 7.16.2004.195

Same message:
It doesn't claim to support your device.No hint of any support for Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems.
The manual disagrees, but it is four years old and Netgear is doing its best to kill off that genie apps, along with the desktop version.
If I try to get into a router with the Genie App, I get a "no longer supported by the Genie app". Version 3.1.78 on Android.
