Nighthawk function without battery?
Hi,
The battery in my nighthawk recently swelled, and therefore is not useable. The only places I can find a replacement battery are online ($30) and at battery world ($87 that I don’t want to pay), but I require internet for studies ASAP.
Ive seen a few articles saying that they’ve been able to get the router working without a battery, just plugged in. But mine is switching off/on constantly when I do that.
Wondering if there is a trick to getting it to work without a battery installed? Or if there is not enough power in my apartment to get it to work altogether?

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.)
The MR1100 is pretty specialist and won't have many users who hang out in this section. You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers about your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
