Nighthawk LAX 204G LTE randomly losing internet connection

I'm having an issue with my Nighthawk LAX 20 4G LTE Wifi 6 router running on a Windows 7 64 desktop and connected by Ethernet. I'm only using it for WIFI as I don't have cable internet where I live, and bought this unit to replace a dying Verizon Jetpack. I've recently been having a problem with losing the WIFI connection in the middle of a download, or upload, or simply using my web browser ( Firefox ). It always reconnects after a few seconds, but as you can imagine, trying to transfer files and have it fail in the middle is frustrating and time consuming. I often use the browser at the same time as an upload, or download and never had an issue when using the Jetpack, nor was it a problem when I first began using the Nighthawk, but it seems to be happening quite frequently now.There is a cell tower near me, so the signal is always at 100%. I've tried everything I know, including hard restarts ( power down, and even unplug the unit for 10-20 sec ) and checking to make sure I have the latest Firmware updates but it still keeps happening. If anyone has been dealing with this, and/or has any advice ( i.e something in settings ) I would really appreciate it.
