Nighthawk LAX20 has to be rebooted after changing the SIM card
What I don't like about the Nighthawk LAX20 is that it does not connect to LTE after changing a SIM card. Turning it on and entering the SIM PIN is not enough for it to establish a connection to LTE. It has to be rebooted. This is a flaw.
1.Turn LAX20 off
2. Remove SIM card
3. Insert another SIM card (different provider, same LTE network)
4. Restart LAX20
5. In the Nighthawk app > Mobile Network Settings: enter PIN
6. Watch as nothing happens. The Router does not connect to LTE
7. Reboot LAX20 and wait a long time
8. LAX connects to LTE
Compare this to the Orbi LBR20, where a connection to LTE gets established after step 5, as you would expect.

Could be a bug. It could also be a difference in coding between orbi/nighthawk.
I know my phone requires a reboot after swapping sim's/pin's.

By the way, I posted this in the wrong subforum. Maybe an admin could move it to https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Routers-with-WiFi-6-AX/bd-p/en-home-routers-nighthawk-wifi-ax6 please?
