Hi AnJellyCue,
I am little confused with your responses. For point 1 you mention that your iPhone or PC cannot connect to the M1. However, you then mention:
"I was able to get it connected to the home WiFI perfectly. the M1 on the device showed the home WiFi. But when I went to turn off the Data Offset thats when the dashboard displayed broadband not connected / and the data offset connection unavailable."
How were you able to determine the data if you were unable to connect to the M1 or are you experiencing 2 different issues?
Issue 1 - Intermittently unable to access the M1
Issue 2 - Data Offloading intermittently drops out
Please let me know if my understanding of this issue is accurate.
Kind Regards,

The only problem i have is with the Data Offset - it's ability to work on the device is intermittent and the errors I get are varied, there is no consistancy no pattern that I can identify - once the data offset settings are on the device, I can not delete them.
I was able to get the data offset working on my device.. and I apologise for the confusion, and it stayed connected for ten minutes. but to then go into settings and turn it off caused the M1 to disconnect the data offset setting, and return it back to the 4GX network, the device that were connected to it, and then I am no longer able to access my device by any means and needed to perform a factory reset, mobile broadbank was disconnected and it comes up with "detecting service" on the screen and stays like that (I have been similar posts people having the same problem)
below is the most common thing that happens..
below are the settings entered
this happens sometimes when using the device
Below shows the device connected. once I try and disconnect - the first and second screenshot occurs
I have not looked at the device since sunday, I'll have anther look at it in the next few days.
I have not sucessfully been able to set up data Offset turn it off, without having to power cycle the device (taking out battery) and performing a factory reset. I did PM you my email email , Unfortunatly Telstra can't offer assistance, and netgear from what I have seen on the forums can't offer assistance because it's not a retail product.
