Nighthawk M1 - External WiFi Antennas

I'm just wondering if anyone knew of there was a way of connecting an external WiFi antenna to the Nighthawk M1 mobile router.
From other posts on the forum it would appear that there is only the normal external TS-9 connectors for cellular / mobile signal and the surface mount connectors labelled 1 to 4 (also for mobile data).

Has anyone taken a closer look if this is possible? Given the lack of obvious antenna, I'm assuming it would have to be a hack job and solder connectors on (like a TPLink MR3040).

If it helps the reason I'm asking is I would love to hook it up to an all-in-one marine antenna such as...

Thanks for any help you can give

CPx Its best not to open up the Nighthawk M1 as it will void your warranty.  However - there is nothing stopping you from plugging the ethernet of the Nighthawk M1 into a NETGEAR Orbi mesh WiFi system WAN port to provide more extensive WiFi coverage.  I do that myself at home without any issues.  Advantage of doing that is - now Orbi comes free of charge with basic Disney Circle parental control which gives you powerful control over what apps and websites users can reach and the amount of time they can spend on the Internet.
