Nighthawk M1 4GX Router slow download speeds

Hi
I am having issues getting download speeds above 5mbps.
I purchased an unlocked device and put in my Rogers SIM card. I have it set up but internet speeds are very slow.
On my old device I could set it to B2 and connect to the Bell tower. With those settings I could stream live TV.
On the new device I do not have an option to set to B2 and it shows the Bell tower but I can not get the device to connect to it.
I purchased a WeBoost signal booster but that has not helped.
Are there any suggestions to help? I've spent hours on Google and have not found a solution.
