Nighthawk M1 keeps purple

Dear all,

I did have a RM1100-100EUS for several years.
Yesterday, after manually rebooting, it kept in infinity reboot mode.

So I got another one today.
1. I booted the device, everything seemed ok (just no SIM detected - because I didn’t install it)
2. putted in a data SIM (which worked fine the last few months), reboot
3. didn’t detect my SIM (that worked already in my old M1)
4. After showing „Netgear and the circle symbol“ it keeps in a purple mode without yellow data/text
5. Uninstall SIM, reboot, usual screen (with text
6. putting Data SIM in my iPhone, worked fine, data/LTE connection worked fine.
7. putted may phone SIM in the M1 - worked fine
8. switched back —> everything like 1-4 is reproducible.

What did I do already:
Factory reset
Testing with and without battery
Cleaning SIM contacts

Please check M1's SIM connector pins to see whether a pin got deformed and lost contact with the SIM card. If so, you can lift the pin up a bit with a sharp object carefully.
