Nighthawk M1 mobile, connected to power source all the time?
Hi, I have an older Nighthawk M1 (latest fimware) at our cabin. Lately (this year iirc) it has some problems turning on if we´ve had a power outage. For some years it´s been connected to a power ...

Your best option?
Pickup a backup power supply and run the M1 off that.
That way if you have power die, the M1 doesn't die.
normally you could leave the battery in as power but it isn't recommended to have the battery in them if ran 24/7 from wall power.

Thanks for the input!
That´s actually a good idea!
So, the backup power supply will then use the power from the main outlet. By experience, we´ve been told by the power company in our cabins region, that any outage has always been shorter than an hour before they fixed it, so probably I wouldn´t need a big power backup.
I know this is beyond the mobile router question, but has anyone a recommendation of a backup power supply, preferably a cheap but good one? (so I know what to look for)

You don't need a massive one, just a nice one. I use APC and Cyberpower ones currently and have had great luck with them.

Much appreciated – thank you!
I found a few from those brands available to me.I´ll get one and try this in my setup with the mobile router.
