A 10.x address is a local IP subnet, not public-facing. Others are 172.x and 192.x. In this case, 'local' may be internal to AT&T, not local to your home network. I also see a 10.x IP as the IP of my M1. I assume AT&T is NAT'ing things and the actual public-facing IP is different. When I go to https://www.whatismypublicip.com/ to check my public-facing IP it is 107.77.x.x. Even with that public-facing IP you may not be able to establish a connecting back into your M1 from an external source due to the complexities of that NAT'ing. Others with more background may be able to offer ideas on how to make that work.
