Nighthawk M1 working on T-mobile hotspot data plan?

I found a reseller of T-mobiles new data only plan that I believe will skip the professional install normally required. Seller say's incompatible with Nighthawk M1.. Why would that be?

MR1100 will work with T-Mobile as long as it uses the right data plan which is for Mobile Hotspot.
