Nighthawk M2 : ANTENNA CONNECTION TS9 connectors seem to be a weak point?
Hello,
I have Nighthawk M2 MR2100-100EUS LTE router and an extra Netgear 6000450 Antenna LTE MIMO omnidirectionnel SMA/TS-9.
How do I see whether the antenna is connected and functioning, in either the router web interface or on the router itself?
(I suspect that somehow one of the mimo TS9 connectors is not solid on the M2, but need to be able to somehow diagnose this.
Thanks

Go to SETTINGS->Nighthawk M2 Status->DIAGNOSTICS and check on RSRP/RSRQ/SINR numbers before and after TS9 antenna plugged, if numbers goes up then the antenna works as it should be

Not the ideal solution is it?
My RSRP/RSRQ/SINR numbers change up and down all the time, and especially every time I even touch the M2. sometimes by +-5 db.
So connecting disconnecting the antenna and reconnecting the antenna always causes a change, even if the antenna connections are working/not working.
Is there really no indicator which says 'Antenna connected'.
How simple would that be!
Thanks anyway.

several possible reasons
1. The connector from antenna is some how loss, so the contact is not getting tight enough
2. You are right one the edge of the tower which your device is subscribed
3. The device has hardware issue
You can take your device, with the antenna, go around the area where you are living to see if it gets stable, this could eliminate #2 reason
