Nighthawk M2
Hello, can I use my Nighthawk M2 as a wifi extender without a simcard? I try to extend my basic router in the house and I want to place my Nighthawk M2 at the back of my garden but I do not know if I...
i guess you can do this, but I could only assume you really have no better use for this router then? such a specialized device used for a very basic task. i can say the wifi on these mobile routers are somewhat limited in range due to the mobile design, so using this as an extender would really not be the best job for it.
if you are still intent on doing this, get the correct user manual for your specific M2 device, look for wi-fi offloading an follow instructions on how to set it up. you do not need a sim card for this function.
