Nighthawk M2100 stuck on "checking" for an update
Hi everyone,
Im trying to see if my Nighthawk M2100 needs updating, but its just stuck on "Checking". Im getting ridiculous low speeds at the moment, and Vanguard is having constant packet loss and high latency issues making it near impossible to play. I'm trying everything I can think of, including updating the firm ware etc. The netgear website offers very little support from netgear, with no way to contact them, so I am hoping the community might help.
My current firmware is :
NTGX24_10.17.08.00
Is this the latest one ? There's no driver support available on the website, the only downloads are the ios and android apps. Really poor for a £400 router

What's that? M2100 is not a Netgear model number.
Do you man MR2100?
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section

Perhaps you need to look into how Netgear provides updates for those devices. It is all in the manual.
