Nighthawk M2(MR2100) with AX4 router

Hello guys.

i just got my M2 and planning to connect to AX40 and let it do all the work and share wifi-6. Can i disable the DHCP on M2 and let AX40 does it? I read some topics and some people have issue of getting wrong subnet mask everytime when reboot the M2. Does the latest fitmware solve it?
