Nighthawk M3 displays Error type 6, reason 57

Been using my new M3 for a day now, occasionally it will disconnect from my 5G network and display the following message:

Mobile Broadband Disconnected
Error - type #6, reason  #57

 

This happens often enough to be annoying and i have no clue where to find information on what those codes mean. Says nothing in the manual.

 

Have anyone experienced something similar? Or maybe someone know where to find the meaning behind the error code?

  • For anyone finding this thread:
    It seems that the automatic APN setting does not really work for some reason.
    I got two APN's configured automatically, which might have caused this error. I found my carriers preferred settings and updated my settings accordingly while removing any extra APN configs.

    Have been running steady for 10h now, which makes me think the issue is resolved.

    I still wonder about the error codes though. Where can I find the meaning behind them?

      Okay, it did not solve my problems. I still get the error, the 10h period must have been some good luck. Emailed Netgear support, but no answer. This is really unacceptable for such an expensive equipment.

      Could anyone from Netgear bother to tell me what this error means and how I can mitigate it?
