Nighthawk M5 — My favorite network with 5G only ?

Hi,

I have a Nighthawk M5 router and I would like to force 5G to stay fixed.

Let me explain. My router keeps switching back to 4G every 5 minutes while I get 5G very well with my phones. To fix the problem, I just have to restart the router. However, in cases where I stream or use the internet to upload personal or professional work, I cannot afford to reboot my device every 5 minutes.

I've been through the admin interface, and I only see 4 selections in "My favorite network" selection :

• All
• WCDMA - All
• LTE - All
• LTE and NR5G

→ At the price of the device, would there be a way to have an option via a new firmware update with a choice "NR5G Only" ?

Because it becomes more and more annoying to restart the device and perform the above mentioned manipulations several times.
