Nighthawk M5 High latency issue
Hi everyone i have an issue with my nighthawk m5 (MR5100). I am located in Australia and use the telstra mobile broadband ISP. Ive been using the m5 for almost 2 years now for my gaming and general use. But recently around 5 days ago my internet became really laggy. The download speeds are normal but i have really bad bufferbloat which causes high latency when gaming. I didnt have this problem before. Telstra seems to also not understand what high latency is. Im thinking some auto software update made it like that. My firmware version is NTGX55_12.04.12.00. I cant seem to find an older version of the firmware on the internet. Ive tried factory resetting it using the button and the software and it did nothing. If anyone has a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.

Does a hardwired pc have the same latency?
Problem with the mobile devices is a lot of it is based on the ISP. Maybe something changed with a tower

This may be due to something changes on the network side since we haven't release an update for a while.
You can also try doing a factory reset to see whether the issue can be resolved.
