Nighthawk M5 MR5200

What is the advantage of this device over a new Cell phone with 5G capacity, when it comes to performance for connecting one or two devices to it in a small appartment ?

I don't c the added value yet as compared to a new cell phone, that has the same functionality to work as mobile router.

    You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)

     

    The M5 MR5200 is nothing like a plain vanilla router, so there won't be many people here who are familiar with that device.

    You might get more help in the appropriate section for that device. That's probably here:

    You cud also check the documentation to check what it promise to deliver.

    Feed in the model number and check the documentation for that hardware.

    Hi,

    I am still waiting for a qualified and competent answer, as of why ur device - Nighthawk M5 MR5200-  is around 200 USD more expensive than ur competitor's Zyxel NR2101:

      This place is for TECHNICAL SUPPORT. It is essentially a user-to-user (amateur) venue with some input from a small band of (professional) Netgear techies.

       

      Most of the answers come from fellow users who have no connection with Netgear. They just have a lot of collective experience and are familiar with the sort of sensible technical problems that turn up here.

       

      If you want to quiz Netgear on its commercial decisions, try somewhere else. The moderators here probably know as much as you do.
