M6 Diagnostic Info
The Nighthawk mobile hotspots, including the M6 line, have a special page that users can access to obtain detailed diagnostic info. When connected to the device, go to this URL: 192.168.1.1/model.json
Or the IP address for the device if you’ve changed it.
A screen will come up with detailed diagnostic information.
The format is XML and NOT friendly to read, but it provides more info on the device's status and connection than the standard interface, which can be very helpful when troubleshooting.
About halfway down the diagnostic page you will find LTE and 5G connected band information. If you are not happy with the set of selected bands, you can soft boot the device and at times other bands may be selected…..as example T-Mobile in my area at times with aggregate B2, B66, N41 & N71, other times it’ll just aggregate B2 & N41. At times fewer aggregated bands will be faster, however with higher latency.
