Nighthawk M6 o2 firmware

Hi I’m looking at options for one of these little 5G routers. Buying through o2 is actually cheaper than buying OEM.

My question is does anyone know if the o2 version has a custom firmware? Is it locked to o2? I would like to use the o2 sim in a phone and then use a different carrier for the 5G nighthawk.

Can the nighthawk be re-flashed to a netgear standard firmware or are their any custom firmwares??

    There may not be many O2 users here.

     

    What do they say over in the O2 user sites?
