Nighthawk M6 Pro - remote access

Question

I have recently acquired a farm in a remote area. I have cell service but not internet. I am considering purchasing a Nighthawk M6 Pro but not sure that it will meet my needs. With cable internet an IP address is assigned to the location. Using that address and Port Forwarding I can access my smart devices such as thermostats and security cameras remotely. My understanding is that a cellular modem / router service does not assign an IP address to the site. Is this correct? If so, is there a work around that will allow me to access these devices remotely? Will the Nighthawk M6 Pro allow Port Forwarding? Are there any other issues that I may encounter.

Port forwarding is supported on the M6 Pro.&nbsp; Check with your wireless operator if they can sign you up to a data plan that offers a Public IP address.&nbsp; The standard data plans are usually private IP addresses which wont work.

Thanks of the suggestion.&nbsp; My mobile is with Verizon but am willing to open a new account with AT&amp;T or T-Mobile if need be.
