Please let me know if my battery will be ok stored and if there’s anything I can do to help with range and my connection dropping. Internet drops from the nighthawk and often the connection is lost on my devices too. I can’t have this as I run a business, yet this is what AT&T recommended over the Homebase I had that worked fine.

For the data disconnection issue, we had released a maintenance release and AT&T is pushing the update to the devices. You can do a manual upgrade check to have your device upgraded. It will help to improve the data connection stability.
You can store the battery. But it is better to charge it once a while to prevent the power is drained completely.
