I had the same problem with a phone that I installed a SIM card in I took tie card out of the phone and cleaned the contacts on the card reinstalled it and it worked. Not sure this will work for you but t worth a try. Good luck.
Notworking2021 How are you dealing with the difference in the SIM size between the phone and MR1100? Most phones today are the Nano (4FF) and the MR1100 is Micro (3FF). Do you have an adapter? If not, the SIM card alignment may be off such that the MR1100 can not read the SIM.
