Just a update.

I have tried the 192.168.1.1 aka attwifimanager, I have also tried factory resetting thru attwifimanager, and a hard factory reset by holding the Reset button by the battery. No Joy.

Called ATT and was told it was a NetGear issue. Was transfered to NetGear and was told it was a ATT issue. Both tried several things with me. But, it was clear I had already tried them all.

So, if you do happen upon a ATT branded M1 MR1100 NightHawk Mobile Router with Firmware NTG9X50C_10.20.05.02 and it will not update out of the box or in the first few days of ownership. Send it back from hence it came. It's not worth the headache.

Overall, it's a great little router. Just my model has a serious FW update issue.

I am not giving up on my little Nighthawk. Maybe one day when the Planets align, the stars are in the right order, and a super moon come into alignment. My router will update it's firmware. :)

  Everyday I log onto the router and do a check for updates. Everyday, it tells me my firmware is up to date.
  
  So nothing new. Still on 10.20.05.02

    Same problem with 2gen - MR1100-2A1NAS.
    Netgear is a joke in terms of Network devices. Again.
