Nighthawk MR2100 M2 - Firmware no longer updating

Hi,   My MR2100 last checked for a firmware update on 5/11/19 and is currently on NTGX24_10.16.03.00   When I press the "check for update" it just sits "checking" for ever and never completes.  ...

    THX John - good hint!

     

    I tried updating when Data Offloading was on LAN so NTP would go thru... and that worked!

I am in the UK and it's an EE sim in there :)

    It has been confirmed by one of EE UK customers that after he switch to another network, his device can be upgraded successfully.

     

    We are working with EE UK to resolve the issue.

      I have the same problem in germany with the provider german telekom.

      If I switch to Ethernet via offloading the update is greyed out.

      Using the broadband will endlessly scan for a new firmware.

        Workaround:

        The scan is working if the provider connection has been established and afterwards the offloading via Ethernet will be enabled.
