Nighthawk MR6500 Pro
Hey all! I’ve seen and read and have had my fair share of problems with the 6500 Pro. I’ve done speed tests with my download speeds 1st 2nd……29,36,88,107 and uploads of 12,11,10,9 the ping numbers were 84-347-439. No idea really what this all means besides up n down sort of.it says speeds up to 8 gigs. I’ve not had any dropping issues lately but trying to watch the tv the clarity is hit and miss with drops there. Am I expecting too much from this $1000 box? Just want a nice clean picture. I’ve seen a review of the Bolton crossbow for faster speeds. Oh I’m streaming no cable. Anyone have any advice? 🙏

Tells me you are using a mobile network with a heavily used cell / tower?

There is not much magic in the box if the mobile network coverage is poor, being by bad antenna positions, being by poor reception, being by poor conditions for the return (uplink) traffic, being on an overloaded mobile network cell.

This seems to be an active antenna system, obviously tested under more ideal conditions than your MR6500 is operated..

Yooooo! Thanks for the reply! I was kind of afraid of that. Sucks cuz the only wired service option is cox and they really know how to treat a guy. My rears already sore. SOB well crap thanks again for taking the time to reply and help me out, really appreciate it thanks again!
What carrier are you using? Assuming AT&T since you say it's an MR6500. If so, they're notorious for being on the low side of speed.
