Nighthawk Nat Type 3
I have a Nighthawk MR1100 that I’ve recently purchased, and while I absolutely love the the hotspot so far, it’s not allowing me to do the only thing I purchased it for. I cannot get my PS4 to switch ...
My understanding is that its a restriction put in place by playstation when they detect its running off a mobile network.
You can google for solutions but your best bet is the playstation forums for help with changing it. Not sure if that'll even help.
A few things I seen from a quick google search on "ps4 nat 3 hotspot"
- setting a static ip address for ps4
- using a different dns provider like googles at 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
