Nighthawk, poor signal with antenna

From what you described here, seems your external antenna were plugged onto TS-9 port and the band your M1 landed is not on those bands, you'd better to figure out if that is the case. Some of users tried to verify TS-9 port of the antenna and found they are on low band while another two internal antenna are for high band (B7). So if you are landed on B7, then it might not improve much when trying with TS-9 port of the antenna. Check SETTINGS->DIAGNOSTICS->Current Radio Band to confirm if that is the case.
