Not able to access certain certain websites

My router does not allow me to access certain websites like the new PubMed website for example. I've heard that I probably need to reset my DNS. What is a DNS and how do I reset it?

    What client are you using to access the website and how is the client connected to the MR1100, by WiFi or by USB?

      Though I'm not sure what you mean, I have used Chrome and Firefox to connect. I use it connect to WiFi.
