NTV300

My NTV300 failed during initial setup.  I successfully connected to my Wifi network, but then the NTV300 was unable to perform a software update, and the initialization process froze at that point, and I am unable to access the home page.  Thanks.   Nick

    a couple things. 

    That device is end of service. NETGEAR End of Service | NETGEAR

    Its a 10 year old media streamer that great performance when it was released. but again, that was 10 years ago. 

    Media streamers have changed a ton and gained a ton of performance since then.

    I'm not sure how much work I'd put into getting it going versus updating to a newer one. A cheap $20 streamer will have more capabilities than that one does. 

    You can try factory resetting but it might not do much.
