Printer not showing up.

I am not sure how to fix this, because I have tried everything I know how to do.  I have a printer (Brother MFC-L3710CW) that can identify my Nighthawk and connect to it just fine.  However, no matter what I do it never shows up on my computer as being connected -- the printer is always considered offline.

The only way I can get my printer to work is to connect it to my cell phones mobile hotspot.

Is there any known solution to fix this issue?
