ptv3000 updated firmware but when HDMI connects to a TV it displays NETGEAR . Nothing more

current firmware 2.4.53  The HDMI connection works and sets a reasonable display setting. The screen then displays NETGEAR in bold black letters but does not complete to displaying "ready for connection". Same issue with HDMI connection to other TV's.

    I doubt if you'll find any0one here (in the mobile devices section) who knows much about this device.

     

    Netgear seems to have quit that market some time go,

    Manuals are also a good place to start.

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

    I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
