Qual'è la categoria dell'LTE del Modello AC810, 9 o 11?

Salve ho notato che sull'esterno della confezione del modello AC810 c'è scritto che l'LTE è un categoria&nbsp;9 , mentre nelle specifiche del prodotto descritte sul sito netgear l'LTE è dato per un categoria 11. Vorrei quindi sapere la categoria&nbsp;dell'LTE per questo modello, categoria 9 o 11 ? Grazie per l'aiuto.

Capability is both LTE Cat 9 and 11. Near 600 Mbps downlink can be achieved by aggregating 3 bands (20+20+20)MHz with 256-QAM,2x2Mimo if your cell operator supports it. Probably not at this moment. So getting real LTE Cat 9 performance up to 450 Mbps will be the next target in customer networks.

You are right. Modem chip seems to have five variants, who knows how they actually differ each other. Very strange to deliver inferior Cat 9 model while more capable Cat 11 model has existed all the time. I hope they do not behave this way when Netgear MR1100 comes. Then nobody should need to worry about the LTE category level anymore. Worst is that LTE Cat 9 downlink has only 64-QAM.

Message to Netgear R&amp;D people,&nbsp;If it is really so that AC810-100EUS has 256-QAM feature disabled, so the big question is it possible to enable by doing firmware update. If it is possible then it is the right time to do it ! There are commercial network 256-QAM implementations in Europe going on. For myself it would be possible to participate in the implementation if the device would have support for 256-QAM.

This issue has been investigated intensively during past days. I got a help from Netgear system engineer. Serial numbers and firmwares checked. All AC810-100EUS retail models &nbsp;have 256-QAM enabled. So these devices are LTE Cat. 11 models. However, retail model package print may still show LTE Cat. 9.&nbsp;&nbsp;It was a great relief to hear that retail models do not have problems with LTE Cat.
