Questions with Netgear Nighthawk travel router
Hi all, I hope this finds everyone safe and well. I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk M1 router, and couldn't be happier with it. This thing is incredible! I have four (hopefully quick and easy) quest...
in order.
1. the external antenna connections are for the 4g signal. So if yours is getting 4g fine, it won't be benficial
2. in terms of the led, a small piece of electric tap is pretty good at blocking led lights
3. Many recommend removing the battery if you have it plugged in 24/7. The only time I've seen issues with that is if your power supply is slightly sketchy. If its sketchy and you're putting a load on the M1, I've seen posts of random reboots. But if you pull it and it stays stable, that'd be a good route to go
4. You can connect extenders to it even if the ssid is hidden. Its a little more challenging for the device you're setting up but it can be done.
