I broke down and took everything to a local AT&T store. They confirmed that I had done everything right, the device is a 5G device, and I have 5G service where I live. They also confirmed that this was not the first time they had heard of such an issue. Turned out to be a SIM card issue. They took a new SIM card, provisioned it to a 5G device in the store, installed it into the M6, and now I have 5G service with my hotspot.

Ir you can take previous generation, M5, MR5200-100EUS (only supports NSA so far)

Hello, can you please help me with a information ?

I got a Netgear M6 Pro, model MR6450-100EUS , but I'm not getting 5G connection , I tried all the prepaid networks available in Romania .

Any idee why ? Or how to fix this ? It should be working right ?

JohnPeng maybe there is something need to modify for NR5G at Romania

Please do check with the carrier for such prepaid sim card if
1. they can be used with hotspot
2. APN settings is done correctly to enable the service

  I did checked the APN , its the same as on my phone, and my phone it's showing 5G connection , APN good everything good but no 5G connection on my Netgear M6 Pro device .. strange right ? What could that be ?

    if APN has no issue, then you need to check if that sim card does support hotspot usage

Please send me a model.jsonf file with the SIM card inserted.

- Logon to the webui (http://192.168.1.1 ) as an administrator
- Navigate to URL http://192.168.1.1/model.json via the same browser window
- Capture the results (by selecting all + copy) and send it back
