when i used netgear chat i asked them to show me how to forward a port. i don't think that was done, all they had me do is reset a DNS setting which did not work.
i'm willing to port forward if somebody will walk me through it.
at this point, sprint is blaming netflix AND netflix is blaming sprint.
they are both going to loose me as a customer.
Ok what you need to do is log into your zing then click Settings-Router-Port Forwarding Now you will want to click enable.
Ok now with port Forwarding you will want to enter the ports you want to forward. First off you will need to know the ip address of the apple tv that is connected you should be able to find this in the devices tab on the left. once you get that you want to fill in apple tv in the first field then its Ip address in the second one (dont use 192.168.1.1 I used that as a example) and then the last one is the port you want to open these are listed on that apple article I linked before plus it will tell you If its TCP or UDP after that hit submit and repeat the process for every port you need opened.

yesterday i took the hotspot into a sprint store. they said netflix had blocked the signal to the hotspot. i don’t know why they would do that because i pay $120 for 30GB per month.

I dont have any other ports that could be opened I find it odd that netflix works on all your devices but the apple tv. Has there been any updates for the apple Tv or to the youtube app on the device? also you may want to tell the apple tv to forget the wireless network and try to connect to it again then try netflix.
