Set a limit of your data like 10GB or whatever and you will see how much you have used on the right, yellow means how much charge you have left...
Oxygene is correct. The left hand side is the battery level of charge. In the picture you're at approximately 55-60% charged. Top is full, bottom is empty.
Same thing on the right, but for data.
