Hi stopper9327
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Please check if Wi-Fi Standby option is set to Disabled.
May we please know the device SKU (e.g. MR2100-100NAS)? This can be checked on the box of the product or on the barcode label
What is the firmware version?
Regards,
Blanca

Hi stopper9327
Were you able to check if there is a new firmware update available?
Kindly do a factory reset using the Reset button. Press and hold the Reset button for five seconds. The mobile router returns to factory settings.

Hi Blanca
I can confirm that I have checked for a firmware update, and I have tried some of the forums solutions i.e data offloading trick with no success. Also done factory reset a few times and still the same results red X near wifi, not correcting it.
