Register product not working

I'm trying to register my new Netgear Nighthawk M1 but the website says my serial number isn't valid or "product can't be found". What's up? I triple checked that the number I'm entering matches the number on the device.

I tried contacting Netgear support but their forms require entering the serial number and those forms are rejecting it. There's also a form that allows you to contact them without that (select "New Product / not listed here") but that form is broken - selecting that option redirects to an HTTP 500 Server Error. 

Can Netgear support email me directly? (and/or fix your broken contact forms?)
