Router password

My husband passed away and I need the password for our router. I tried to reset it but I dont know the answers to his security questions. Netgear says I need to pay for premium just to get help. Do I just have to buy a new router?

    According to user manual page 171, after doing factory settings return by pressing that reset button long then admin/password defaults should be in use again.

    Hi asphaltwolves, 

     

    If you reset the router then it will be on factory default settings. How long did you press the reset button? May we please know the exact model of your router? Press and hold the reset button on the back of the router until the power led starts blinking orange. You should notice a click by pressing the reset button.
